- Diagnostic Medical Sonography student at Mount Aloysius College
“I encourage you to seek out opportunities, even if they are not required. Sometimes they are not always laid out in front of you, so take the initiative to reach out and ask anyways. My shadowing experience did not just give me volunteer hours, but instead, it gave me valuable information I used to make one of the biggest decisions of my life. By the time I started my sonography program, I was not wondering what the profession would actually be like. I had already seen it firsthand.”
