The Ultrasound Schools Info student scholarship is a semi-annual, non-renewable $1,000 scholarship awarded to an aspiring sonographer currently enrolled in a CAAHEP accredited diagnostic medical sonography program, or a high school student who has been accepted to a program.

Congratulations to the Fall 2019 Sonography Student Scholarship recipient, Kendall Clark!
Kendall is in her junior year at Southern Illinois University. The program is lead by Shannon Anderson, MSed, RDMS, RVT, RT(R), who has been at SIU since 2002.
She is very motivated and is excelling in her sonography courses. She is a joy to have in the classroom and lab, and always has a smile on her face.”
This year, Ultrasound Schools Info wanted to celebrate Medical Ultrasound Awareness Month by awarding our first ever Sonography Student Scholarship.
DMS students from across the country shared with us their individual insights on what lead them to to choose medical imaging as their field of study and future career.
We were thrilled to receive 65 application submissions. The scholarship selection committee reviewed and scored each application before we selected this year’s 5 finalists, and ultimately our scholarship recipient. Congratulations to you all.
