Hi there! My name is Lynn. I’m a cardiovascular sonographer with experience in outpatient and inpatient settings; currently working in an outpatient setting. I started my sonography journey as a non-traditional student since sonography is my second career. Aside from seeing patients, I am also an adjunct professor at Monroe College helping future sonographers pursue their dreams.

I love that ultrasound is the first step in most (if not all) patients’ diagnoses and as sonographers, we are the eyes of the providers. I am most passionate about raising awareness for everything sonography and a strong advocate for current sonographers, prospective, and current sonography students, especially those in a non-traditional path. I believe everyone deserves to have the career they envision for themselves.

When I am not working, I co-host a sonography podcast, Sonographers in the Cities, with my friend, Geselle, whom I met through the sonography community on Instagram. Together, we strive to create a relatable, real, and raw platform that can be a resource for future and current sonographers.

Sonography Student Scholarship

The Ultrasound Schools Info Sonography Student Scholarship is a national, non-renewable $1,000 scholarship awarded to an aspiring sonographer currently enrolled in a CAAHEP accredited diagnostic medical sonography program, or a high school student who has been accepted to a program.
